"Beachy Keen"
a tip of a wave slides beneath the feet
wet sand drifts between naked toes
salt spray mists the face
sand crabs probe the surface
sea mist cools skin
sea gulls dive at roaring waves
wind blows speckles of sand
dogs bark at sounds
pelicans skim the sea surface
lone surfers dash in wave tunnels
sails are wind blown
footprints in the sand
sandcastles dot the seas edge
sea shells catch in the sand

Hawaii? Heck, I'd settle for a weekend in Santa Cruz.

by the way, did you write this? Very nice. Very nice indeed.

Yes, me being Kimo, I think about the beach when I daydream, any beach that has nice sand and mellow waves will do. Yes I wrote it, I really like poems.
